✨ The Key Milestones That Shaped MIFA Academy ➡️
MIFA Academy launched with a foundational Web Development course, driven by a small team of passionate educators. Our focus was on immediate, practical application for our initial cohort of 50 students, operating entirely online with minimal resources.
We expanded to 100 students and introduced an introductory Python course. This year highlighted our resource constraints and technical struggles. We learned that despite having a great curriculum, our self-built learning management system (LMS) needed a major overhaul to improve student retention and the overall learning experience.
We are currently struggling at a critical point with 500 loyal learners. Our main effort is securing seed funding to upgrade technology and hire key staff. We are performing a complete internal overhaul of our platform and curriculum, aiming to transition from a struggling startup to an effective, scalable educational provider.
Our goal is to launch "MIFA Career Tracks," intensive, portfolio-guaranteeing programs built on our revamped platform. We plan to secure our first industry mentorship partnerships, aiming to be recognized as the most reliable pipeline for entry-level tech talent in our region.
